Simple guide to weather forecasting with barometric pressure

The latest firmware update of Fenix 2 include a barometric pressure trend line which not yet included in the user manual. Since the similar trend line is come with Suunto Ambit 2, below show the extract from the manual:

You may also visit to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_forecasting to know more regarding weather prediction with barometric pressure:
Use of a barometer
Measurements of barometric pressure and the pressure tendency (the change of pressure over time) have been used in forecasting since the late 19th century. The larger the change in pressure, especially if more than 3.5 hPa (2.6 mmHg), the larger the change in weather can be expected. If the pressure drop is rapid, a low pressure system is approaching, and there is a greater chance of rain. Rapid pressure rises are associated with improving weather conditions, such as clearing skies.
So i am expecting a warm weather tonight:(

Restarting from DNF

It have been quite a long time i "quit" blogger. Now i am a father and i still running! It was a disaster 2013. At first i lost my job. Early 2013 i ran a 20min 5K, but subsequently i was injured due to over train and miss all the race for the whole year.

In to 2014, i restart my training with lower intensity and my main target is my first marathon in Penang Bridge International Marathon on November. Subsequently, my next target will be an 100K ultra in 2015.

Since then i have start gather shoes, gears, books and gadget to prepare for the ultramarathon (and logging millage!). i will start sharing my review and thought on them from time to time but don't expect coverage like Jamie Pang and DC Rainmaker.

The blog also will serve as a resource website to record all those good article (training!), nutrition, blogger, etc. for my own future reference. So, stay tune!
